About Us
Bill and Francis Drone purchased Carmi Lumber back in 1952. Today, we’re proud to be one of the oldest continuously family-owned-and-operated businesses in the county. Throughout our decades in business, Bill and Francis’ children were always involved, and now their son Don Drone—a Navy Veteran—is happy to follow in their footsteps. After returning home from serving our country, Don is excited to serve as the owner and president of the family business.
